Grampire Series
Part One - Mondays

This image was a way to join several things that were pursued and dropped into something new.

The first was finding a way to salvage “Grampire” a portrait commentary with Vladimir Tretchikoff “Chinese Girl” as half the image and the other half Grandpa Munster painted in the same style and pallet.

The second is the Rabbit-Faun. This cross-breed rabbit and deer was inspired by the Jackelope. A genetic impossibility creates a perfect metaphor to reflect the political field.

The third is the Nixon portrait. It is used to anchor the other elements in political literalism. Both portraits are similar in size and create a competitive tension. Using the Holo foil as a binding agent for all images triggers a tension three-way.

This tryptic of characters is only found in 12 out of 84 images.
